How I Sell Homes Others Failed to Sell
Real quick, I have a new book out. It is called: How I Sell Homes Others Failed to Sell.
This book is chock full of tips, tricks, and professional advice on getting your home ready for sale and how to get top dollar for your home sale.
I was recently written up on the front page of the OC Register, Orange County Register because I sold a home for $75K over the asking price in 4 days. We had a bidding war and the book talks about how you can possibly create that too.
The book is informative in helping you sell, in the fastest amount of time and for top dollar.
I hope you enjoy it, and text or email me if you have any questions. I’m in your corner and I am always here to help!

The Art of Virtual Interior Design and the Realities You Need to Know
What is Virtual Interior Design?
Each designer or design company approaches virtual design differently. Not all design companies do virtual interior design, but many do.
If you need us to work with us from a distance? We’ve got you.
How it works with DC Douglas Interiors Inc.
Fill out the questionnaire here or on my contact page. It will come immediately in an email to us. That way we don’t have to discuss all of this information on our first call, the discovery call. You have already given me a great head start on what your project is. This is extremely helpful!
Discovery call (approx. 30 min) is our initial consultation via Zoom. You can tell us more about your ideas and dreams so far.
After this call, you will receive an email with a list of next steps based on our conversation and what you need. You will be asked to send pictures of your existing room, furnishings, and so forth.
Space Planning (Measure the space). If builder plans do not exist, the client is asked to provide us with room measurements.
Next, we will make selections of furniture, colors, lighting, and usually accessories. This is presented as a mood board.
Client approval.
Ordering and delivery. The client can order their preferences directly from the mood board. The furnishings specified have buying links if you choose to do that. It will be shipped directly to your home, making it a very easy process for you.
Final touches consultation and pictures. Once you have received your items and the room is complete, we love it when you send us the after-pictures of the finished room!
Although virtual interior design may offer many advantages, it's important to weigh the disadvantages too.
One of the significant drawbacks of virtual interior design is that it lacks the personalized touch of traditional interior design. While virtual designers can create personalized plans based on the client's style and preferences, they may not be as detailed or nuanced as those created from face-to-face consultations with a traditional interior designer.
Another disadvantage is that virtual interior design may not be suitable for complicated renovation projects that require construction work. While virtual design services can help visualize furniture arrangements and décor items, they may not be able to provide insight into construction elements such as structural changes, built-in designs, plumbing, and electrical work.
Conclusion
Virtual interior design has revolutionized the way we approach home renovation projects.
The benefits of virtual interior design are many, ranging from cost-effectiveness to design flexibility and convenience. However, like any renovation project, virtual interior design has its drawbacks too. It's essential to weigh both the pros and cons of virtual interior design before committing to this innovative design approach. In the end, the right decision will depend on one's individual preferences, needs, and budget. Regardless of the approach chosen, there's no denying virtual interior design has made interior design more accessible, affordable, and exciting than ever before.
So, if you think you may be interested in virtual interior design for your home, go here, fill out the questionnaire and that will start the ball rolling. After that, we will schedule a discovery call session. And off we go to the races. This is really not hard and is quite fun!
