Your decorating personality is different from your furniture style. We'll get to your furniture style later, but for today we're going to talk about your decorating personality.
I'm passionate to see your uniqueness in your home. Your personality is what gives your home that uniqueness. It is the stamp of view that you get when you come home each day. The goal is for you to come home to surroundings that you'd love; that you feel great in. You want to make your home feel uniquely you.
For today's episode, I prepared a quiz to determine your interior design personality style. If you're curious about what it is, this episode is for you.

30 Questions to Ask to Determine Your Interior Design Personality Style
I know something about you, friend. You are insatiably curious.
Your goal is to exceed limits and break boundaries - and you’ve done so many times over.
When it all has been achieved, you still do one thing: You come home.
I am passionate to see your uniqueness in your home. Your personality is what gives your home that uniqueness. It is the stamp of you that you get to come home to each day. Our goal is for you to come home to surroundings that you love, that you feel great in. We want to make your home feel unique and different from your neighbors’.
Your decorating personality reflects you and it creates emotions in the home. Perhaps you have pieces from your travels that people say, “ Where did you get that?" It is so you, so unique and cool!”
And then you spill the story… A story uniquely yours!
But really the most important emotions are your emotions! When you come home and just say, oh my gosh, I love my home, it is where I find my peace. It's truly my space. It has my individuality, character, and even flaws.
I am so glad to be out of this crazy outside world. It's bananas out there these days! I want to come home, kick off my shoes, have a nice drink, and relax with my loved ones.
INTERIOR DESIGN TRENDS:
It seems that so much interior design is so alike today. Some of it seems void of personality.
I stay aware of all the latest trends, but trends are just trends. They are ever-changing. We do not want to completely go with them or completely ignore them.
The best thing to do is gleen what trends fit you. The rest are not yours, and that is just fine!

What kind of personality do you have?

Are you outgoing?
Are you serious?
Are you fun-loving?
Do you like your rooms very neat and with no clutter, very efficient?
Do you feel more comfortable with more accessories and stuff?.

A quick note regarding husbands and wives, or others you live with:
Many times I have been asked, “what if we're really different?”
Each of you takes the quiz and finds out your results.
Sometimes the husband and wife are not the same personality or style. For instance, I have worked with a modern husband married to a romantic wife. That combination can blend beautifully together. I really never had a problem blending the design to fit both the husband and the wife’s personalities and styles.
Usually, even the person you choose is somewhat like you. We like things that are like ourselves. You may see that you are both warm-based skin color. Upon a closer look, you may have a lot of similarities.

Okay, you've added up all of your A's, B's, C's, and DS. Which of each of these personality styles are yours and what do they mean?
If you have nine or more of any of the letters that would be your dominant personality style. You may have two and sometimes more dominant personality styles. That's perfectly fine.
Most people have one dominant and one secondary style. The two highest letters.
Occasionally, somebody has an even number on all four. They may lean toward all of them. That's very unusual. I have had it happen though.

I hope you had fun doing this! You can give this test to your significant other or your kids too. The answers really can be quite revealing, fun, and interesting to find out. It might be nice to find out everybody's interior design personality who lives in the house.
The Conclusion
No matter what style or styles you are, you are unique! You are an individual and your home should be a lovely reflection of your beauty.
You can pare down the millions of interior design choices by concentrating and choosing those items you love and are your personality style.
It's really fine that we all have different personalities. We don't all have to be like each other. We are not all alike. We are all unique.
When you're surrounded by items you love and products that align with your design personality, your home will feel more pleasing, serene, and restful.
So whether you are an A which is dramatic, a B which is romantic, a C which is modern and efficient, or a D which is an individualist and trendsetter, whatever your style, all of them are fabulous!!!
