I wanted to end 2022, the first year of my podcast - more like almost a year, to say I am soooo filled with joy for you all! Thank you and blessings to all who are joining from all over the world. So let’s get on with Holiday Cheer, Celebration, and Happy New Year!

Our verse for the week is Joy to the World…MATTHEW 2:9–10
“And behold, and the star that they had seen when it rose went before them until it came to rest over the place where the child was. When they saw the star, they rejoiced exceedingly with great joy.”
The Magi had the knowledge and with the fear of the Lord, they watched for His star and followed it to where the Child was born, where the Son was given.
The nearby shepherds also heard. They were shepherds taking care of their flocks at night. An angel appeared to them and told them not to be afraid as he brought good news, “This very day, in David's town, your saviour was born – Christ the Lord!” They went and would find the baby wrapped in cloth, lying in a manger.
Jesus is the reason for the season and wise men and women still follow Him!
This verse talks about the 3 wise men. You all are in my thoughts and prayers, and although I don’t know you - I pray! The Lord knows!
For me, and many of us, it has been a tough year with the loss of my best friend and her husband, my real estate broker, and other beautiful friends to Covid. I cry with you and others who have felt the sting of Covid and other things that life hands us!
But also this year, I know that Joy is from our Lord and I lean on Him daily to hold my hand and guide me in my destiny! And He has given me great joy too! I am so thankful for that!
So here’s a toast for you for Holiday Cheer, Celebration, and a very Happy New Year! May 2023 be the best year ever for love, joy, and discovery for each and every one of you!

Capture the Joy of the Season
Jingle bells, jingle bells...
The coldest nights feel coziest when the tree is sparkling, the cocoa is steaming, and the fire is crackling. You see, it isn't about the gifts, the travel, or that perfect "Hallmark" holiday decorations or celebration.
It's about being together and loving one another. Your family tree might look like a perfectly groomed maple, all fiery and warm. Or, your family might resemble a patchwork quilt instead, mismatched and miscut, but somehow it all works.
Both are beautiful. Your closest family members might share your DNA, or they might be the furthest from it.
Enjoying this holiday season isn't about making sure your family or your traditions look like everyone else's. For your own peace of mind, please don't create something beautiful just for the sake of social media praise or pressure. The only "likes" that matter is the ones standing in your kitchen.
The pie might not be perfect. The meal might not be served on time. The gifts might not be wrapped pristinely. And none of those things will matter a week from now, anyway. Memories aren't made of perfect moments, but of moments that capture your family perfectly.
Wishing you joy. Wishing you peace. And wishing that you had a very Merry Christmas!
And now the New Year is just around the corner!

The clock struck 12 AM on January 1st, 2023, and chills went down our spines simultaneously. It's the New Year. As Anne of Green Gables once wisely quoted, "Tomorrow is a new day with no mistakes in it... Yet."
We are all in this life together, and life is what we make of it. As home professionals, we believe the same can be said of your space.
Cringing at the wall color? Paint it.

Make the New Year a year of action.
